Bio:While Attending the University of Arizona Leah helped lead her team to three NCAA National Championships. Leah holds the Women’s College World Series Record for batting average in a single tournament, hitting .750 (9 for 12) in 1994. In 1994, ’95, and ’97, she was part of the First Team NFCA All-American Team and WCWS Team. In 1997 she was named NCAA Woman of the Year for the state of Arizona. Leah later went on to become an Olympic Gold Medalist in 1996, 2000, and 2004. She was named in 2006 to the NCAA Division I Softball 25th Anniversary Team. Leah was inducted into the Athletes in Action Hall of Faith in 2008. Her career stats stand at .428 batting average, 338 hits, 53 doubles, 5 triples, 7 home runs and 181 RBI’s. Leah is now the co-host of the Christian Sports Show called More Than Conquerors. She is married to Tommy and is the mother of 3 boys, Jake, Drew and Luke. |
