June update

Well the news just keeps becoming GREATER NEWS (lol), the 4th-6th Volleyball team has went from WORST to FIRST!  THAT’S RIGHT, THEY WON THE VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT beating the #2 & #1 seeds.  As all of you know my household is 75% “vested” in the team with my wife coaching, so it has made for an AWESOME “life lesson” experience for not only my children but for our family.  Yes there have been some pretty rough weekends due to the teams record, weekend sleepovers with 9-12 year olds all over the place with no man in sight to save me with a little sports talk, however I wouldn’t trade any of it now that we are at the end 

Reminders:

We are still looking for people interested in sponsoring Football Camp.  Cost to sponsor a child is only $75 per.  How great is it to help a child to attend something like this.  Come see for yourself.  Football camp dates are July 8 and July 9 at University of Indianapolis.  It will be FREE, yes I said FREE.  Contact us to find out how to get your child registered and involved.

Don’t forget about the Summer Conference August 19-22, 2010 in Indianapolis, IN.  If you can’t make the entire conference, come on August the 20th for our 1st annual TEAM CAPTAIN training from 9-2pm.  We will be discussing some of the best practices for starting teams, and executing outreaches.

Outreach and Student UPDATE:

This last 6 months has flown by.  As a region we have spoken to over 80,000 students this year.  Great work by all who have helped achieve this goal.

And as always, Contact me to find out how you can get involved in changing lives of our young people as a Team Member, Team Captain, Donor, or just getting your children involved in the Football Camps.

Region 2 May Update

Well 4th through 6th grade volleyball is still going.  GREAT NEWS, the team won their 1st game.  Being 75% “vested” in the team with my wife coaching has made for some pretty rough weekends due to the teams record and weekend sleepovers, however this past weekend was GREAT (including the sleep over…lol)  Track continues with the girls doing extremely well.  The girls had a great meet.  Darian won the 200, 100 while Asia won the 50, and got 3rd in the 100.  That’s right they ran against each other in the 100.  Again it needs to be stated that they clearly didn’t get their father’s speed (thank goodness).

Football camp dates are July 8 and July 9 at University of Indianapolis.  It will be FREE, yes I said FREE.  Contact us to find out how to get your child registered and involved.

Outreach and Student UPDATE:
The Terre Haute Exchange Group set the bar for this NEW GUY.  OVER 8,000 students with their Outreach last week with Rich Garza.  WOW, Great Job to Abe Miller and his group.  Thank you for what you are doing for your youth.  So far we have seen 333,445 students this year.  Our Goal is still to see 500,000 by the end of the school year, so yes, we can still use your help!

Region 2 - April Update

The Butler Bulldogs represented our city of Indianapolis proudly.  GO DAWGS!!!

Volleyball starts this weekend, and my daughter’s ran their very first track meet over the weekend.  They clearly didn’t get their father’s speed (thank goodness).  3rd/4th’/5th/6th grade track is so much fun to watch.  The children actually are smiling while running.  All I could think about was if I ran as far as some of them, I would be doing a lot of things but I am pretty sure none of them would be smiling…lol
Football camp dates are July 8 and July 9 at University of Indianapolis.  It will be FREE, yes I said FREE.  Contact us to find out how to get your child registered and involved.
Ken Johnson just was here in Indianapolis last week (April 6-8).  Spoke to over 3000 students.  It was a lot of fun, and the students were so excited.  He was made an Honorary Ben Davis Giant at his very last Outreach 
So far we have seen 289,981 students this year.  Our Goal is still to see 500,000 by the end of the school year, so yes, we can still use your help!

I am still in need of only 1 more Outreach for the Spring of this year.  If any of you can help with that, the “NEW GUY” would really appreciate it.

March Update

As we all know, the Colts lost.  Congrats to the Saints.

My daughters’ team is still “DEFEATED” in volleyball, but the positive side is they are getting better, still having fun, and want to play again next session.  With my wife coaching (makes my household 75% “vested” in the team), has made for some interesting weekends.

So far we have seen 251,810 students this year.  Our Goal is still to see 500,000 by the end of the school year, so yes, we can still use your help!

I still need a 2 more Outreaches for the Spring of this year.  If any of you can help with that, the “NEW GUY” would really appreciate it.

Please keep in mind that we have football camps coming this summer (firm dates coming within a few weeks).

Contact me to find out how you can get involved in changing lives of our young people as a Team Member, Team Captain, Donor, or just getting your children involved in the Football Camps.

It’s 2010…

It’s 2010 and here in Indianapolis we all have COLTS fever.

I am excited to say that we are on our way of reaching 94 Outreaches for the Spring of 2010.  Our region currently has 12, but has been goaled for 24.  So as you can see, WE STILL CAN USE YOUR HELP.

Contact me to discuss how you can help with the current Outreaches because we still need Team Captains, Members, or even how to get involved to schedule your OWN Outreach.
